Some Beautiful nature and attractive place of Manipur

Siroy lily is a beautiful flower. It is found only in the Siroy hill in the Ukhrul district of Manipur.
Barak river is the largest river in Manipur.
The leimaram waterfall is located in the sadu chiru hill area in the bishnupur district of Manipur.
The Loktak lake is the Biggest lake in north east India.
The Sangai is a deer which is found only in Manipur at keibul lamjao National Park. This deer is also known as laughing deer and also The sangai is the state animal of Manipur.

ABOUT MANIPUR HISTORY

Manipur is situated in the north eastern side of India. Manipur have its own culture, identity, script, language, religion etc. and also it was a Independent country till 1891. From 1891 Manipur was in the hand of British and British free the Manipur after second world war. And again India took Manipur on 21st october 1949 so till now the people of Manipur condemned and celebrate this day as a black day in Manipur.
            Before Manipur become a part of India it is a peaceful country and also called Manipur as a laireibak(place of god i.e. heaven). It is really beauty of nature and also Indian first prime minister Jawaharlal nehru called Manipur as a Switzerland of India.
